Polaworks
The book is a result of the Polaworks project by Swiss photographer Filipa Peixeiro. The publication features more than 80 Polaroid prints, which have been created through manual manipulation of Polaroid films.
The inspiration for this long-term project was to examine the inner life of Polaroids. For once, the polorids shouldn't display humans or landscapes — but expose the chemical processes usually portraying these objects.
The series has been created mostly in Zurich and Lisboa, manipulating the unexposed instant photos manually through pressures and different light and temperature sources. The outcomes are landscapes of chemestry and light, allowing to peek into the insides of these thin, but complicated objects.

Fensterfabrik is a work collective situated in a nostalgic window factory on the hills of Zurich, Switzerland. Every now and then we do hold exhibitions, theater plays, film shootings and sometimes even cooking lessons.
DIRECTION
From the Zurich main station you can reach us taking the S10 train and get off at the station Schweighof. Then, walk down the street called Schweighofstrasse until you reach number 409.
There is also the tram number 14 in direction to Triemli. Go off at the station Schaufelbergerstrasse and walk up the street called Schweighofstrasse until you reach number 409.
